Who We Support

We want to elect leaders who will empower their constituents, advance a progressive agenda by staking out positions on the issues, have the courage to take temporarily unpopular positions, and stand firm against the far right.

Furthermore, they should fight with passion for access to health care, strengthen labor, protect the environment, promote a multilateral foreign policy, fully fund education, help family farms, energize economic development in eastern Washington, defend pro-choice policies, support the arts, and prevent discrimination based on gender, race, physical disabilities, religion, and sexual orientation.  

However, a candidate's integrity and effectiveness are more important to us than their ideology.  Their ability to find workable solutions, advance this progressive agenda, and give people back their faith in government is what really matters, not the party to which they belong nor the labels of conservative, moderate, or liberal.
